Security

Open Source & Transparent

GitLogger is a 100% open-source project. You can review the entire source code, build it yourself, or contribute to it on our official GitHub repository. We believe that transparency is the key to building secure and trustworthy software.

How We Handle Your Data

Your privacy is our priority. Here's exactly how GitLogger operates:

  • No Tracking: We do not inject analytics, trackers, or hidden telemetries into this application.
  • Local Processing: Searching and caching of repositories happens locally in your browser's Local Storage to ensure lightning-fast performance and reduce network overhead.
  • Direct API Calls: When analyzing repositories, we securely communicate directly with the official GitHub API. No intermediate servers store your repository data.

Reporting Vulnerabilities

If you discover any security vulnerabilities or issues, please responsibly disclose them by opening an issue on our GitHub repository or contacting the maintainers directly. We will review and patch vulnerabilities promptly.

AI Infrastructure Security

GitLogger's built-in AI assistant utilizes Cloudflare Workers AI. All communications between your browser and the AI API are encrypted over HTTPS. The serverless architecture ensures that no persistent sessions or chat histories are stored on our infrastructure.
