Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
GitLogger is designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect, store, or process any personal information. All searches, caching, and repository data are processed exclusively on your local machine within your browser.
2. Third-Party Services
To analyze repositories, GitLogger makes direct network requests to the official GitHub API. Your IP address and the repositories you search for are visible to GitHub in accordance with GitHub's own Privacy Statement.
3. Local Storage
We use your browser's Local Storage solely to cache repository data (such as timeline events and commit stats) and to remember your recent searches. This ensures the application is incredibly fast and minimizes unnecessary API calls to GitHub. This data never leaves your device.
4. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Since we collect absolutely no data, these updates will typically only reflect changes to local storage mechanisms or integrations with third-party APIs.
5. AI Chat Features
Our AI assistant feature is powered by Cloudflare Workers AI. When you use the chat functionality, your messages and the surrounding repository context are sent securely to Cloudflare to generate responses. Cloudflare processes this data in accordance with their privacy and data protection policies. We do not store your chat logs on any of our own servers.
